The Salen Hotel is a traditional Highland hotel. Built around the late Victorian period on a prominent site within the village of Salen at the head of the Ardnamurchan peninsula, it lies in an area renowned for its seclusion and natural beauty. The Salen hotel is family run and has been lovingly restored over the past few years to provide the visitor with beautiful accommodation.

The bar is warm and welcoming and most importantly it is well stocked with a wide selection of wines and spirits. The Salen Hotel has worked hard to provide good quality food cooked by our in house chefs, using, where possible, local produce. The menu changes seasonally to take advantage of the shellfish during the summer months and venison and game through the autumn and winter season.

We also have a recently built self catering cottage next door to the hotel offering comfortable accommodation for up to four with views over Loch Sunart.

The cottage sleeps 4, with one double and one twin room, both with views over Loch Sunart.
