Let us tell you a little about The Firs Bed and Breakfast, run by Tony and Lesley. We are a friendly Plymouth B&B, which can cater for families, and there is a super large children's play park just next door. We also cater for large groups, fishing, divers, cyclists, walkers, or if you are on business and working in the area. We have a small family room for 3 persons and a large family room which can cater for 2 adults and 2 children, and a travel cot - available on request.
We also have a high chair for use at Breakfast. Tony in his spare time is a very keen fisherman would be happy to advise you on the local area for fishing. All guest bedrooms are equipped with colour Televisions and have complimentary Tea and Coffee making facilities plus Hot Chocolate and Biscuits. Some rooms have hairdryers. Additional hairdryers can be provided on request.
Some of the rooms are en-suite. We also provide complimentary toiletries in all rooms, plus all rooms are provided with towels. We also offer packed lunches for those getting out for the day.

Rooms 2 - 4 are located on the 1st Floor, and Rooms 5 - 8 are on the 2nd Floor.
Room 8 has space for a cot or a good adult fold-up bed with a quality mattress.

John Smeaton, a Yorkshire-man, used granite blocks for the exterior of his tower and Portland stone for the inside.
The stones were dovetailed together and the lighthouse had a slightly curved profile, which strengthened and gave it a low centre of gravity.
