We are located in rural Nidderdale near to the town of Pateley Bridge in the North Yorkshire Dales. Helme Pasture offers two pet friendly self catering Scandinavian lodges and three dog friendly Yorkshire Dales farmhouse holiday cottages. We are nestled in our own 29 acre natural woodland which overlooks the Nidderdale valley, which our guests are free to explore.
Our two custom built self catering Scandinavian lodges are designed for 2 to 6 people and are adaptable as they can be arranged in different configurations depending on your requirements. These self catering lodges are all on one level, from the car park, through to the decked area, so they will also suit those of us who are no longer as mobile as we once were.
These two lodges can be opened up via two internal doors into a single large holiday home and with minor changes large groups of up to 10 adults can be easily accommodated whether this is a friends getaway or a multi generational holiday for your extended family. Unlike the simple wooden cladded caravans that can often be found on holiday parks, these are genuine Scandinavian houses made by Danish craftsmen and well insulated from the extremes of weather from snowy winters to blazing hot summers.

Stone Croft Lodge is the smaller of the two Scandinavian 4 star lodges and is for 2 people in 1 double bed, with the capability to take up to 2 extra people if required on the high quality sofa bed or 'small single' beds.
Please be aware that use of these extra beds will impact your available space!.

Fern Crag is a large genuine Scandinavian lodge that can accommodate 6 people via 2 x double bedrooms and 1 x twin bedroom.
The living area has relaxing sofas and chairs, smart TV, Bluray and a Bluetooth Audio player.
The dining area has a large dining table seating up to 8 for those long lazy Sunday lunches.
The sleeping accommodation consists of a master bedroom with an en-suite (not suitable for a wheelchair), a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.
The exterior of the accommodation boasts a large decked and seating area to enable you to enjoy the birds and wildlife from the comfort of your holiday home.
