About Us
Solid Luxury is a family business offering luxury self catering lodges and cottages across Scotland.
We began our journey in 2007 when we made the decision to build 4 lodges on our working farm in Fife - Balmeadowside.
Very quickly we realised that what we had was really special and our guests truly appreciated the environment they found themselves in.
We love being able to share with our guests, the beautiful countryside, amazing views and peace and quiet that we are fortunate enough to enjoy everyday.

Our Locations
Providing the perfect back to nature escape, Balmeadowside has 19 lodges and cottages sleeping 2 to 8 which are all positioned on the south facing slopes of a working farm near Cupar in Fife providing amazing views over the countryside.
Enjoy a romantic break, a family holiday or a friend's get-together in a relaxing idyllic location where the only locals you will meet are the resident llama's, pygmy goats, deer and cattle.
Many of our guests choose to stay on the farm for their whole holiday, exploring the nurtured walks, taking in the relaxing atmosphere and retreating to their private hot tub, however we are also in the perfect location to get out and explore the surrounding area with gorgeous beaches nearby at Leuchars, St Andrews and the East Neuk or shopping in Dundee and Perth along with lots of activities for families throughout Fife.

We have lodges, cottages and farmhouses in Angus, Dumfries & Galloway, Fife, Inverness-shire and Perthshire.
Once you have searched with your specific criteria you will be presented with a page of various properties to suit your requirements, from here you can go on to the page for each property to find out more and book your stay.
We will only hold a provisional booking for a maximum of 48 hours (this will be less if your booking is for dates within 14 days).
We have lodges, cottages and farmhouses in Angus, Dumfries & Galloway, Fife, Inverness-shire and Perthshire.

Our deer are reared naturally on our farms, grazing on grass pastures, guaranteeing a beautifully flavoured lean and tender red meat which is an excellent and healthier alternative to traditional red meats.

If you manage to drag yourself away from your hot tub, there are a whole host of activities to keep you entertained in Angus.
Greenmyre Farm is only a 40 minute drive from Dundee, an hour from Perth and just over an hour to Aberdeen making this a great base for exploring Scotland.
Glenshee is also a 40 minute drive, ideal for a ski holiday, especially as you can retreat back to the farmhouse and relax in hot tub after a day on the slopes.
