Services
When we bought the Kirklands Hotel in 2007, it was a rustic 17th Century coaching Inn but the interiors were very dated and in need of some love and so the project began.
In 2007 we did an overhaul of the Bar, Restaurant and ground floor modernising the interiors but keeping in touch with the buildings history.
Over the next few years we fully refurbished our eight bedrooms, we wanted to streamline the look and feel of them but in keeping with the historic nature of the building every room is different from the eaves to the sloping and sometimes creaky floors each has its own style.
Our restaurant offers a dining experience based on high quality food, drink and service in stylish surroundings.
Our menu which changes seasonally uses fresh local produce all prepared in house by our team of skilled chefs.
We pride ourselves on knowledgeable but friendly service and our waiting staff are always on hand to help with a query or recommendation.
The Restaurant at the Kirklands provides good vegetarian and vegan options, and is happy to cater for special dietary requirements.
Unfortunately because we have staff isolating and staff on holidays we cannot manage to cover this full week.
By day, the bar is the perfect place to while away the afternoon meeting with friends or simply relaxing with the papers over a freshly brewed coffee and homemade pastry.
By night the bar becomes the ideal place to enjoy a pre dinner cocktail or glass of wine from our extensive drinks list.
Or for those looking for a taste of Scotland we carry a fine range of malts and cask ales.
Our new drinks list will introduce you to a range of all Scottish gins, local craft beers, some exclusive malts and up and coming wine varieties that will soon become your old favourites.
