The Sanctuary is a family-run B&B in Ogbourne St. George, near Marlborough, which consistently gets "excellent" and "very good" reviews from visitors, with praise for the quality of the breakfast, including the eggs from our own hens. Local produce is used whenever possible, either from the garden or local suppliers. We have three spacious and flexible rooms available for our guests, with a good range of facilities.

We provide relaxed and friendly accommodation within a family surrounding. For walkers that stay two or more nights, we offer a free lift to a starting point like Overton Hill, Avebury or Sparsholt Firs. Ogbourne St. George is in a lovely location in the North Wessex Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Og River valley is between the Marlborough Downs and Aldbourne Downs, and equidistant from Aldbourne, Chisldeon and Marlborough.

It's a favourite stop-over for people walking, cycling or running stages of the Ridgeway Trail which passes through on its way from Overton Hill near Marlborough to Ivinghoe Beacon in Buckinghamshire.
