Busta House Hotel
Our team want all our visitors to enjoy island life as much as we do. We are passionate about providing the best possible experience for everyone who comes to stay at Busta House Hotel and we work closely as a team to make that happen. We take great pride in our standards of service and want everyone who stays here to come away with memories that will last a lifetime.

Grant is General Manager at Busta House Hotel, having started as a part time kitchen porter while still at school. You can always find him working front of house service and loves to see both our regular clients as well as new faces. He has a real enthusiasm for ensuring our customers get the best out of their visit to Shetland (and particularly well known for his tartan suits!).

Like Grant, Joel started off as a part time kitchen porter at the young age of 13. He then worked through all departments, giving him a great knowledge and experience in all aspects of catering and hospitality before settling on Front of House. He loves to talk whisky and make recommendations to our customers.
