Traquair Arms Hotel
A family run hotel & gastro pub in Innerleithen, nestled between the hills of the Tweed Valley in the Scottish Borders. Set in a 200 year old coach house, the Traquair Arms offers a warm welcome all year round. Enjoy a pint of local ale in our traditional Scottish bar, where fresh, locally sourced food is served throughout the day. Finish the night with a comfortable night's sleep in one of our 15 hotel bedrooms or self catering cottages.

Our hotel is perfectly placed for exploring the history and countryside of the Borders. The nearby Southern Upland Way offers stunning views for walkers and the River Tweed offers excellent fishing in the autumn season. Tweed Valley is also home to some of the worlds best mountain bikes trails and we've got great facilities for bikers. 16 traditionally Scottish en-suite bedrooms, including single, double/twin and family rooms.

Flexible spaces for small events and private dining, including weddings, parties, funerals & corporate events. We want to make your experience of the Traquair Arms as safe and comfortable as we can.

Two comfortable family rooms (sleeping 4 and 3 people) that are ideal for families or small groups of friends.
Like all our rooms, a delicious Scottish breakfast is included with your stay.
We've got two self-catering cottages for families and groups wanting a little more freedom.
Both have a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room and sleep a maximum of four people (combination of double/twin with a single bed / z-bed / sofa bed).
They are both dog-friendly.
If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before your arrival date, we will hold your 50% non-refundable deposit for a future booking with us (subject to availability).
In the winter, you can sit by the cosy pub fire cradling a 15 year old single malt whisky.
In summer, it's all about sipping a cold pint of beer or a refreshing gin and tonic in our award-winning beer garden.
Our bar is a friendly and traditional Scottish pub, ideal for meeting friends after a day's fishing, biking or hiking, for a drink or bite to eat.
The large beer garden is well equipped for the summer, and we even have additional seating out front for catching the last rays of sun!
We wouldn't be a traditional local pub without a decent collection of malt whiskies to offer, which is why we've got 30+ to choose from, along side an ever-growing selection of local Scottish gins.
We welcome all kinds of events to the hotel and can offer a variety of private event spaces and exclusive use options.
If you are looking for a small, relaxed, traditional venue for your wedding, we'd love to hear from you.
We can also recommend some great local suppliers for wedding photography, wedding flowers and more.
With a variety of options available to choose from, our aim is to make the catering for your loved one's funeral as straight-forward as possible for you, whilst our team respectfully serve your guests some lovely food and drinks.
