Castle House must be one of the most uniquely historic bed & breakfast locations in the UK, featuring as part of its own garden a significant part of Denbigh's ancient town walls, as well as the evocative ruins of a 16th Century Cathedral built by Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester.

Castle House enjoys a setting shared with the 3 jewels of Denbigh's heritage crown, The Castle, Leicester's Church and the Ancient Town Walls.
There are 2 acres of landscaped gardens, with lawns, shrubs, fish pond, heather beds and croquet lawn.
The main drive runs for 1/3 mile through our ancient woodlands that surround Denbigh Castle.
Owls, woodpeckers and many more species of birds are to be found here.
For walkers there are many interesting local walks, Dr Johnson and Beatrix Potter have local connections with Denbigh, and 2 local walks take these subjects into account.
The spacious and gracious Drawing room with it's ornate cornicing and feature fire place (log fires in season) baby grand piano and comfortable seating is available for our guests to relax whilst sipping a snifter!
There is a selection of board games and magazines to help ensure your stay is comfortable.
The formal dining room with it's pretty ornate ceiling plaster work, splendid views over the Clwydians, and log fires in season is perfect for luxurious breakfasts.
The grand entrance reception hall with feature mirror welcomes you on arrival and lends a sense of the style and grandeur that was Castle House in it earlier days of shooting parties from a by gone era, now brought up to date whilst retaining the majesty and style.
