Kemphill has two, 5 star, gold award, self catering barns available for your holidays on the Isle of Wight. Both are fully en-suite and come with WiFi. The Old Dairy sleeps 12 in 5 en-suite bedrooms and The Barn 10 in 4. The Dairy has all zip/link beds enabling up to 12 single beds if required. The Barn is more conventional with one zip/link, two doubles and 4 singles.

The barns are on the top of a hill overlooking 200 acres of rolling pasture and 50 acres of forestry. The 50 acres of forestry offer stunning walks at any time of the year. If you are very quiet you should see a red squirrel! Now halfway into a fully sustainable 10 year management plan, the woodland provides the fuel for the biomass heating system used by all the properties.
Services
Kemphill Dairy is a lovely Edwardian building constructed from local brick and clay tiles.
Although very modern when first created in 1911, milking finally ceased in 1999.
All later extensions have been removed, and in 2002 the interior was carefully transformed into the luxurious, 5 bedroom, all en-suite, accommodation you find now.
Externally, with the exception of replacement windows, little has changed.
Indeed, the two doors at the eastern end, with their huge step, are a reminder of where the cows left the building after being milked.
Our guestbook features reviews and recommendations from previous visitors who have been kind enough to share their experiences of Kemphill Farm with us.
We have included some online here for you and our guestbook remains in both our barns for you to leave your own feedback when you stay!
The Bullows & Willetts families just wanted to say ' Thank you very much for such a lovely holiday'.
Your accommadation was absolutely first class, the quality of furnishings and services was oustanding and you five stars is well deserved.
The Isle of Wight lies on the south coast of England, only a short ferry ride away from Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington.
The Island is a beautiful holiday destination all year round, with miles of pathways for walking and cycling and lots of sandy beachs for those warm sunny days.
Wether you are a couple looking for a relaxing week away on your own, or part of a large family there is something for everyone on our beautiful Island.
There is a lovely collection of National Trust places to visit on your stay, dotted all around the Island.
On leaving Fishbourne Ferry Terminal, turn left at the traffic lights, follow signs to Ryde.
When you reach a mini roundabout turn right into Newnham Road, signposted to Brickfields.
Keep on this road passing Brickfields and take 1st left, and immediate left again into Stroudwood Road, signposted to Ryde.
Carry on along Stroudwood Road, the farm lane is the only turning on the right after 1/2 mile and is signposted.
