read more › In order for us to safeguard the health of our staff, and to maintain our high standard of service, we need to reduce the workload of our kitchen and front of house team, so, regretfully, the restaurant will be closed for lunch on Thursday and Friday as well as dinner on Thursday and Sunday evenings. We will continue to offer a light cold supper menu to hotel residents and drinks and beverages will be available as normal. We will also not be offering a full afternoon tea. We are immensely proud of the outstanding food produced by our Head Chef Olly Pierrepont and his team, making ours a contender for the best restaurant in Cornwall.

Daily scheduled fl-ights from London Gatwick to Newquay (-flying time one hour) make weekend short stay holidays at Driftwood perfectly feasible. This service also facilitates visits from overseas guests, -via Heathrow and Gatwick. From Exeter, branch left at Junction 31 and join the A30, signposted Okehampton. Continue on the A30 for approximately 60 miles until you reach the end of Bodmin dual carriageway.

If you'd like to work in our award-winning hotel by the sea and continue to provide the best Driftwood service to our lovely guests, please do get in touch we would love to hear from you. You will be a key member of the team encompassing a variety of responsibilities including taking reservations, greeting guests, answering email and telephone calls and interacting with OTA's. Experience is preferred. Due to the high demand for staycations we are recruiting full time housekeepers.
