The hotel was first mentioned in records in the 1540's under its former name - The Swan Inn.

Since being re-named the Swan Revived in 1952 the hotel has been sensitively refurbished and now boasts a beautiful light-panelled restaurant and oak-panelled lounge as well as two bars and banqueting facilities.
