Cambridge Country Cottages started life as a humble dairy and are set in a scenic courtyard containing stables, a granary, and a magnificent 16th Century timbered barn. Surrounded by 23 acres of parkland on the edge of the picturesque village of Horningsea, just 2.5 miles from the historic and thriving City of Cambridge. These luxury Grade II Listed self catering holiday cottages, are located just three miles from the city of Cambridge and nestled within 23 acres of private parkland.

Standing alone away from the main house within a Courtyard setting, they offer lovers a romantic retreat for stolen weekends and holidays within beautiful countryside with an abundance of wildlife around to enjoy. The cottages incorporate thoughtful design elements and eco friendly features to offer a modern country retreat immersed in a scene of rural bliss.

Wake to the gentle sound of Spring lambs playing in the fields and drift off to sleep to the comforting hoot of owls. Restored using reclaimed traditional materials with sheep wool insulation timber beams and 300 year old brick floors, you will feel you have stepped back in time but with an up to date modern sleek twist to it.

The surrounding countryside has numerous cycling paths for those who wish to enjoy the scenery on two wheels or enjoy long country walks directly from your back door before coming home to relax in front of a roaring log fire.
Situated just 8 miles away is the famous town of Newmarket generally considered the birthplace and global centre of thoroughbred horse racing.
Enjoy a day at the races or pay a visit to the National Horseracing museum or the home of the Horse Racing Project.
The more adventurous could hop on the train just two minutes drive from Eye Hall at Waterbeach and take the frequent trains directly into Kings Cross and Liverpool Street stations within the hour.
