North Hill Holiday Cottages
North Hill Holiday Cottages: Nine 3-star and one 4-star standard, self-catering cottages, lovingly furnished and sleeping 2, 4 or 6 people set in peaceful surroundings with glorious views of the North Devon countryside. If you have booked a cottage at North Hill Cottages, and are then unable to travel due to Government imposed restrictions on travelling from your home address, or we at North Hill Cottages are similarly unable to host you, you will receive a full refund of any money paid to us in respect of your holiday.

North Hill is the perfect getaway when you and your loved ones want to get away from it all. An idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern living. Featuring an indoor heated swimming pool, toddler pool, Sauna, hot tub, games room, toddler play park, tennis court and country walks from the doorstep, you may not want to leave when it's time to go.

For the more active, an abundance of sandy beaches, Exmoor walks, traditional seaside villages and child-friendly attractions lie within easy reach.
Services
Situated right next to the famous Marwood Hills Gardens, on the edge of the hamlet of Marwood (about 10 minutes drive from North Hill itself).
Although not on our main site, you will have full access to all the facilities (eg pool) at North Hill.
Glebelands offers a very cosy getaway for four people.
You can't always predict the British Weather, we all know this, and just in case it's not like the tropics outside, we have a 33ft long, indoor heated swimming pool for your enjoyment with changing room, shower and W.C.
Alongside the main pool and also indoors, is a toddler pool 0.65m (just over 2ft) deep where those who can't swim unaided can be supervised safely.
Both are heated to a comfortable 28-30°C.
Within the pool-house there is a Sauna Cabin for those who enjoy warming up before plunging into the pool. 1 in the coin box gives you 20 mins heating.
When you arrive at North Hill you will want to know in advance what is provided in the Cottage and what is not.
This way you won't bring unnecessary items or forget to bring something you do need.
The nearest supermarkets are 4-5 miles away so the last thing you will want to do is go shopping just having arrived after a long journey, so we suggest you bring the basics and then top up during your stay as necessary.
Tesco and Sainsbury will both deliver to North Hill so please feel free to order for a delivery after your arrival.
Option 1 takes you through Barnstaple which can be very busy at peak times with slow moving traffic.
As you approach Barnstaple turn right at the roundabout sign-posted A39 to Lynton and the Hospital.
Follow signs to the Hospital which involves several roundabouts with right turns.
Proceed until you see the hospital on your right and go straight through the lights.
At this point I would recommend you switch off the SatNav as it will not take you to North Hill despite you having entered the right postcode.
This is North Devon: Isn't it nice to be spoilt for choice?
North Devon offers so much variety; the seaside, the picturesque villages, Exmoor walks, surfing, National Trust properties, golden sandy beaches to name but a few choices.
Rediscover the England you knew as a child.
Time does not stand still in North Devon - it just moves slowly.
It doesn't matter if you just want to relax on the beach, take time out fishing, or even spend your days at a fun park - it's all here for you - rain or shine (and generally, it mainly shines).
