Bryn Afon is located in the heart of picturesque Betws-y-Coed - the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park - making it the ideal base for your stay. Enjoy scenic riverside walks to waterfalls right from our doorstep, the majestic splendour of Snowdon and the surrounding peaks and the sheer beauty of the coast and nearby castles. Bryn Afon directly overlooks the Pont y Pair bridge, River Llugwy and waterfalls, providing unrivalled views for our guests to enjoy.

We are a stone's throw away from restaurants, shops and pubs and just a 5-minute walk to Betws-y-Coed railway station. Bryn Afon has onsite private parking for each of our 6 rooms as well as secure storage for motorcycles, bicycles and sports equipment. Free Wi-Fi access is also provided. Your breakfast at Bryn Afon is all about delicious food that is cooked to order and served in our bright and airy dining room.

Breakfast is served from 8 am to 9 am. However we do appreciate that sometimes you may want to make an early start to the day.
Services
Bryn Afon has 6 guest rooms, ranging from compact doubles to our mini suite.
All our rooms are dual aspect and boast stunning views.
Our guest house is situated on the quieter B5106 rather than on the busy A5 that runs through Betws-y-Coed.
We have 6 guest rooms: 5 double rooms and 1 twin/super king room, each for a maximum of 2 people.
Every room is dual aspect and boasts stunning views of either the river Llugwy, the Pont-y-Pair bridge and waterfalls or the Gwydir Forest.
All our rooms are en suite with the exception of room 5 which has its own large private bathroom across a small landing.
Single occupancy bed and breakfast is available in all rooms at the prevailing room rate less 5.00.
Bryn Afon Guest House is not suitable accommodation for children and therefore children will not be accommodated under any circumstances.
Advance reservations are normally for a minimum of 2 nights, excluding bank holidays.
However, we may be able to accommodate a single night booking between other bookings depending on availability.
To enquire, please e-mail or call us.
There is a flat screen digital television with remote control and subtitles in each guest room.
Bryn Afon Guest House is closing its doors for the last time today and we would like to thank everyone, past and present, who has supported us and enjoyed their stay with us during our ownership.
It has been a pleasure looking after all of our guests from around the world but it is now time for us to move on.
Llandudno Junction is the main transport hub for reaching Betws-y-Coed.
Arriva Trains run between Betws-y-Coed and Llandudno Junction (on the Blaenau Ffestiniog route), as do their buses.
The bus timetable often connects better with the trains arriving at Llandudno Junction.
Bryn Afon is just a short flat walk (less than 10 minutes at a modest pace) from Betws-y-Coed railway station.
For simplicity, we suggest that you get off whichever bus you are on at the railway station.
On leaving the station area, you come out onto Station Road.
