Bed & Breakfast accommodation is situated in the village of Drymen in the heart of Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park and the first stop on the West Highland Way. The West Highland Way links Milngavie, just outside Glasgow, to Fort William in the Highlands. Drymen is the first stop on the West Highland Way. For those looking for a more active break, there are woodland walks, hill walking, cycling, fishing and a good selection of golf courses all within our Local Area.

Drymen is a picturesque village and you can enjoy the hospitality at the local pubs which offer good food and quality drinks, or simply enjoy a stroll around. A warm welcome to Ashbank Bed & Breakfast, situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Drymen in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Our modern bedrooms are all en-suite and are accessed through a separate entrance to the main house offering guests a safe and secure space during their stay.

The West Highland Way is Scotland's best and most popular long distance walk.
It runs 96 miles (154 kilometres) from Milngavie on the outskirts of Glasgow to Fort William.
Opened in 1980 as the first official long distance footpath in Scotland's it remains our best loved long distance walk.
Taking in spectacular landscapes from tranquil lochs to dramatic mountain ranges and rushing rivers you'll be rewarded with vistas of ever changing landscapes on your walk through the wonderful West Highlands of Scotland.
Only a few miles from Drymen, Scotland's most picturesque distillery can be found.
Enjoy a tour of the Glengoyne Distillery and sample a Dram from their fine selection of malts.
You can even take some home from their extensive gift shop.
Loch Lomond Shores in Ballcoh boasts a fine selection of shops including department store Jenners, the Loch Lomond Sealife Aquarium and Can You Experience, the outdoor activities company based on the beach at Loch Lomond Shores.
There's also a Farmers Market showcasing local produce every second Sunday.
Ashbank is situated in the heart of Drymen just behind The Clachan pub in the Village Square.
We are on the corner of Old Gartmore Road and Balmaha Road.

Take the M8 to Greenock and follow signposts to Erskine Bridge.
After crossing the bridge take the A82 to Loch Lomond.
Close to reaching Loch Lomond follow the signs to Balloch, which will take you on the A811.
Continue along this road for 8 miles.
Turn left at the junction onto the A809 and follow the road until yousee the signpost for Drymen on the left.
