Your Stay at Spinnaker Hotel - Gourocks Premier Waterfront Hotel
Spinnaker Hotel is a family-owned and operated establishment with a rich history dating back to the 1920s. Originally known as the Fairlight, the property underwent a name change and ownership transition in the early 1970s, remaining within the same family for over five decades. In 1998, we expanded from three to nine en-suite bedrooms while integrating adjacent residential space to enhance dining and socialising areas. A comprehensive refurbishment in 2016-2017, guided by interior designer Catherine Wilson, preserved our traditional homely atmosphere while introducing modern comforts. Our current owner, Stewart McCartney, leads a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

We prioritise personal service over automated entertainment, ensuring guests enjoy authentic interactions and memorable stays. Located on Gourock's waterfront, we combine Victorian architectural charm with contemporary amenities. Our kitchen operates daily from 7:30am to 8:30pm, extending hours on weekends to accommodate diverse guest schedules. Through consistent quality improvements and customer-focused operations, we maintain our reputation as a premier destination for both leisure and business visitors.
