Woodcock Farm Holidays
Our accommodation sits within a traditional Cotswolds Threshing barn and comprises renovated and fully-furnished luxury self-contained apartments, each with its own private entrance. The apartments have been designed to provide every home comfort. Completed with beautiful furnishings, contemporary bathrooms, delightfully comfortable beds, a welcoming and relaxing living space and fully-fitted kitchen, we aim to provide an oasis of calm and comfort away from your daily lives.

My partner and I stayed at Barn End over the Easter weekend, looking to get away from London after a few stressful weeks at work. Caroline and her family were so welcoming to us, we didn't want to leave after our trip! Barn End was absolutely beautiful and very stylishly decorated. I have no hesitation in recommending you stay here. We had a wonderful time exploring the local area and were made to feel so welcome by Caroline!

From the time we arrived until the second we left Caroline and Jason looked after us incredibly well.

The peaceful 36 acres sits on an Iron Age hill fort with links to both the Roman and Anglo-Saxon periods.
Atop a west facing escarpment, it comprises a large central meadow, circled by two ring mounds, with the small woodland to the southern edge - perfect for those who enjoy scenic walks, and being immersed in nature.
Our accommodation comprises newly renovated and fully-furnished luxury self-contained apartments, each with its own private entrance.
The apartments have been designed to provide every home comfort.
The opportunity to buy Woodcock Farm in 2017 was a dream come true and seeing it all coming together has been fantastically rewarding.
Our vision is to create a relaxed and friendly holiday environment with really comfortable facilities surrounded by and connected to the outdoors.
Maintaining the wonderful hill fort and running the farm are integral to the experience, as we see it, and we aim to do so in as environmentally friendly way possible.
One of our first decisions was to install a large array of PV solar panels on our barn roofs, which means we produce nearly all the electricity we use on the property.
Woodcock Farm comprises 36 acres of grazing, meadows and woodland - we have sheep and pigs and raise our own lamb and pork, as well as lots poultry for free-range eggs.
You are, of course, welcome to walk the footpaths around the fort and the Cotswold Way, which crosses right over the land.
From Woodcock Farm, you can follow this or some of the other footpaths all the way to Bath or up well into the Cotswolds to its start at Chipping Campden.
If you would like to see the farmyard and meet the animals, do ask and if we can we will happily show you around.
These include our own eggs, bacon and sausages.
We add delicious artisan bread from Hobbs House Bakery (our neighbours own this lovely business) as well as butter, local honey or jam, yoghurts, fruit juices and fresh fruit.
Let us know when you book.
If you are staying for a few nights, we're sure you'll want to check out our local pubs and restaurants.
But as a great self-catering option, why not order one of our home-produced meat boxes.
We can offer both lamb and pork in various cuts and sizes to suit.
From the time we arrived until the second we left Caroline and Jason looked after us incredibly well.
Timberdoodle is an unbelievable experience and getaway.
