Spotless no dust or dirt comfy night sleep, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Accommodating in all aspects from can't do enough during breakfast or when you ask for any help. Porth Beach is a large, family friendly sandy beach only 10 mins walk from Pensalda it has a sheltered aspect being protected by headlands on both sides.

Porth island to the east, which can be accessed by a narrow footbridge, has some impressive prehistoric defensive earthworks and the remains of a Bronze Age settlement as well as impressive views across the bay and towards Trevose Head lighthouse.
There is a family friendly pub called The Mermaid right on the beach and cafes and shops nearby.
