What accommodation options do you offer?
We provide two en-suite guest rooms: one double with shower, one twin with bath and shower. Both offer fell views, free WiFi, and private parking, with rates starting at £110 per night including breakfast.
Do you serve food to non-residents?
Yes, our Flock-In tea room welcomes walkers, cyclists and visitors. We serve homemade dishes made with Herdwick meat, including Linda's famous pasties and stew, daily 10am-5pm February-November.
Can I purchase Herdwick meat products?
Yes, we sell vacuum-packed Herdwick meat cuts and hampers directly from the farm. Custom orders are available through our butcher, with 24-hour delivery options for fresh produce to locations across Lakeland.
What are your payment methods?
We accept cheques for room deposits, payable to Mrs J Bland. For meat purchases and other services, please contact us directly to discuss available payment options prior to visiting.
How do I reach Yew Tree Farm?
From M6 junction 40, follow A66 to Keswick then take the Rosthwaite turn-off. Upon entering the village, turn right at the first junction and follow the narrow lane to the farm on the left.
Are pets allowed on the premises?
As a working farm, we cannot allow dogs inside the farmhouse. However, we provide designated parking areas where pets may remain in vehicles during your stay or tea room visit.
