Gyllyngvase House was originally built in 1880 and was the first residential coastal property to be built on Gyllyngvase Road, some 200 yards from a stretch of sand now known as Gyllyngvase Beach. It wasn't until the mid 1900's that the area of Gyllyngvase started to undergo extensive development which saw landmark hotels and further family homes being built.
The area around Gyllyngvase is now classed as a conservation area in order to protect its heritage and areas of natural beauty. Andrew and Elle are very proud to be able to offer a beautiful guest house, 200 yards from Gyllyngvase Beach and less than a 10 minute walk into Falmouth Town Centre. Currently, Gyllyngvase House offers twelve rooms which includes Single, Double, Deluxe Double, Premium Double and Twin Rooms.
With the exception of the single rooms, all rooms are ensuite. Our single rooms do have their own private bathrooms. Additionally, all rooms are provided with The White Company premium toiletries, free wifi access, tea and coffee making facilities, mineral water, biscuits, hairdryers and Smart Televisions etc.
