Enjoy the perfect getaway-from-it-all with our weekend package including dinner, breakfast and prosecco! Enjoy the perfect gin-lovers weekend away in the Surrey Hills, as Wotton House pairs up with local distillery, Silent Pool. For 400 years, Wotton House has done things differently. Once home to the John Evelyn, a botanist and arboriculture expert, he was passionate about the role of plants in our diets, lived as a vegetarian and was considered a pioneer of his time.

This sense of eccentricity lives on at Wotton and you have see the Evelyn family history still present in the hotel today. From our 17th century Italian gardens - the first in England - to our pillared library, you'll discover something unexpected and delightful at every turn. What's remained throughout the centuries is our sense of warmth, charm and individuality.

Throughout our historic gardens you'll discover corners of English eccentricity that have become synonymous with the Wotton legacy. Our rooms are individually designed.
