West Hollowcombe Farm Self Catering Cottages
Our self catering cottages are spacious and well appointed. Located in the glorious Exmoor National Park we offer absolute peace and quiet. However, with good luck and a following wind, we are only a three hour drive away from either London or Birmingham. The Two Moors Way passes our gate and for the energetic numerous other walks can be explored.

Dogs and horses are also welcome; the latter being accommodated on a DIY livery basis. Alternatively you may simply decide to chill out and enjoy the magnificent views and wildlife. A wide variety of moorland birds and mammals such as hares and rabbits to say nothing of red deer are regular visitors. Exmoor ponies are often to be seen grazing on adjoining common land.

If you wish to explore the area, we are within easy reach of the coastal towns of Porlock and Lynmouth and close to Lorna Doone country. The pretty town of Dulverton is only a short drive (or walk) away for shopping and browsing. There is a adventure playground in front of the cottages as well as a selection of ride-on toys.

Just arrived home from a long weekend at WHF and what a fab weekend we had.
The owners were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
The cottages were stunning and cosy and had everything needed, the grounds and gardens were stunning too.
The hosts, Peter and Irene, live on the site and provided a warm welcome.
The scones were an unexpected surprise.
There are plenty of walks from the farm enjoyed by us and our dog, with Dulverton a few minutes drive away.
This was our first stay at WHF and I'm sure we'll be back.'
Exmoor, nestled on the north Devon/Somerset border, is the smallest of the National Parks and covers around 267 square miles of stunningly beautiful countryside.
There are over 625 miles of footpaths and bridleways; some of which can be accessed directly from our own property.
It is possible to ride, cycle, walk or even run all day only touching the roads to cross them.
The highest point at 1704 feet (Dunkery Beacon) enjoys wonderful panoramic views over the moor, the Quantocks and across the Bristol Channel to Wales.
Horse Riding in Exmoor National Park is a fantastic way to get out into the stunning landscape.
Varied woodland, moors and open fields are crisscrossed with over 625 miles of tracks and bridleways, ideal for exploring on horseback.
There is an abundance of wildlife, from buzzards to red deer, butterflies to wild Exmoor ponies.
Between the spectacular views, enchanting ancient pathways and creatures galore you will have plenty to take in.
We have four large block built stables should you wish to bring your horse or pony on holiday with you.
As you approach Dulverton Moor Motors will be seen on your right hand side.
Approximately 100 meters further on a large white house standing to the left should appear and immediately after that take the sharp uphill turning and then the first right signposted Hawkridge as it winds up and along and finally runs out into a "y"junction where you turn left.
Half a mile on turn right toward Hawkridge and follow this road for three miles, then taking the first right turn into the village of Hawkridge where West Hollowcombe is the first property on the right hand side.
