Polean Farm
We are now open as is the swimming pool, outdoor playground an indoor playroom. We are also offering animal feeds tractor rides and pony rides (but with adjustments to allow social distancing). Polean farm is located in Cornwall, down green lanes off the Looe to Polperro road, just outside the village of Pelynt. The farm is set amongst rolling farmland and is less than 2 miles from the sea.

On the farm we offer free animal feeding and pony and tractor rides (on weekdays only). The 18th century former barns have been converted into spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated child friendly and toddler friendly Cornish farm cottages set around a pretty courtyard. All of the cottages are full of character as they have been converted from the original farm buildings which date back to the 18th century.

We have upgraded all of the cottages with new leather furniture, flat screen TV's and new rugs and bedding and continue to make improvements every year. Our aim is to make each cottage a cosy home from home for you and your family.

All of the cottages are full of character as they have been converted from the original farm buildings which date back to the 18th century.
We upgraded all cottages with leather furniture, flat screen TV's and new rugs and bedding and continue to make improvements every year.
Our aim is to make each cottage a cosy home from home for you and your family.
Well equipped kitchens with oven and hob, Microwave and Fridge Freezer (and dishwashers in Little Owls, Rosebud, Shires Rest, Twinkles and Waggoners).
Detached Barn with Three Bedrooms, Three Bathrooms.
Named after the owls that still live in the nesting boxes around the building, and that can sometimes be heard at night, Little Owls is a modern barn conversion.
It is set in its own private lawned garden where a decked patio with garden furniture offers glorious views across the farm and towards the village of Pelynt (the garden is fenced, so there are no sharp drops for toddlers).
Little Owls is surrounded by fields full of horses (and often rabbits and other animals and birds), so you will definitely feel like you are on a farm.
Rosebud is a pleasant, beamed cottage with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and lovely countryside views.
The cottage was named after Rosebud the cow, who had all of her calves in one of the downstairs rooms (before it was converted from a barn to a cottage!), while the upstairs was used to store hay in the winter.
You can still see many of the original features of the barn, like the exposed stone walls, split barn door and the double upstairs opening that was once used to load the hay to and from the horse drawn wagons that pulled up underneath.
Three bedrooms, Two Bathrooms.
Shires Rest is a pretty 'upside down', beamed cottage with plenty of character and great views across the farm and surrounding countryside.
The cottage was named after the Shire Horses that used to live in the downstairs rooms (before it was converted from a barn to a cottage!), while the upstairs was used to store hay in the winter.
You can still see many of the original features of the barn, like the exposed stone walls, the extra wide entrance door (wide enough for horses to get through!) and the upstairs door that was once used to load the hay too and from the horse drawn wagons that pulled up underneath.
Waggoners is a delightful single level, open plan cottage, with its own private patio and garden to the rear and views of the front fields and the children's play area at the rear.
The cottage was named after the wagons that used to be stored in it when it was an open sided barn and you can still see many of the original features of the barn, like the exposed stone walls.
The spacious slate floored open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room has vaulted, beamed ceilings, a wood burning stove, brown leather furniture a 42 inch LCD TV and a DVD player.
