Toby Hill is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is centrally situated to visit the wonderful attractions nearby, such as The Bowes Museum, Raby Castle, Barnard Castle, Killhope Wheel Lead Mining Centre and Beamish Museum to name but a few.There are numerous circular walks from our doorstep, the Teesdale Way passes nearby or you may like to follow the Pennine Way beside the River Tees as it thunders over High Force Waterfall.
There is lockable storage for Bicycles if you would like to cycle around this beautiful and scenic area.

Toby Hill Cottage is located in the Teesdale countryside two miles away from the village of Middleton in Teesdale and 1 mile from Eggleston village.
It has been converted from an old farm building.
The property is south facing and is situated down a short incline, to where you will park a car.

The family has farmed at Toby Hill and at our other family farms for generations, since around 1920.
The land ranges from beautiful heather moorland down to riverside meadows, with many pastures in between, which are grazed by our cows, calves, ewes and lambs.
With open fields and meadows just over the garden wall you will soon get acquainted with them all.
