Set in a restored water mill, Felin Crewi is the perfect retreat. Beautifully secluded and yet easily accessible, our two holiday cottages, stable and caravan offer a calm haven to restore a soul bruised and battered by the modern world.
We know, not everything was awesome in the 15th century. Plague, burning people at the stake, poor broadband. There were a few issues. But one thing they definitely understood was tranquillity. They had it in spades. When the most powerful engine available is driven by water, you tend not to worry about the clock too much. After 25 years as a designer in the corporate world, Julie Fortune decided she'd had enough of being her own boss and went to work for two cats called Pickle and Poppit.
They act as general managers at Felin Crewi, in charge of the day-to-day administration of the place and keeping things running smooth and mouse-free.
In addition to running the cottages, Julie-a passionate gardener-is engaged in a long-term project to replant and restore the extensive gardens at Felin Crewi into a haven for the already prolific wildlife in the area.
