Circa 1870, this magnificent Victorian property, with a large private car park, is situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. Only 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations, and a leisurely 15 minute stroll down to Lake Windermere, we are perfectly placed for those with or indeed without a car.
Extensively refurbished, and constantly maintained, the original Victorian period features marry well with the contemporary, stylish decor. All rooms have a light, airy feel and the cosy lounge is a relaxing place to enjoy a drink, or simply unwind. Stayed for two nights for a weekend of walking and had a great place. Really good location with ample parking, room was lovely, staff helpful and informative - let us check in early.
