Services
I am particularly proud to introduce you to The Nare which has been in our family's ownership for over 30 years.
An AA 5-star hotel, it has been the highest rated hotel in Cornwall for the last three decades.
Acquired by my grandmother, Bettye Gray, The Nare continues a century-long family tradition of running hotels.
Determined to provide luxury and elegance hitherto unknown in the South West she set about upgrading The Nare to become what it is today, a comfortable country house for discerning guests.
The Nare is surely one of the most beautifully situated hotels in the British isles.
Set on the Roseland Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the hotel benefits from spectacular sea views and the natural beauty of the rural landscape.
Located south of Truro and just over four hours from London, The Nare is a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of life and discover the stunning natural beauty, culture, and historic sights on offer in Cornwall.
Nare bedrooms are both elegant and comfortable.
Most are large and spacious and all rooms have the refinements one would usually find in a well-run country house; armchairs, books, magazines and fresh flowers.
Some of our rooms are on the ground floor making them easily accessible and a lift is available to access rooms on the first floor.
In addition to a full valet and evening turndown service, The Nare provides hot water bottles throughout the winter months.
There is the choice of sheets or duvets according to one's taste.
Dining at The Nare is a luxurious experience.
Guests will have the opportunity to have dinner in The Quarterdeck restaurant and the Dining Room during their stay.
The Nare's reputation for fine dining has been established over many years, with both Nare restaurants receiving recognition for culinary excellence.
Cornwall itself has become a destination for some of the finest chefs and restaurants in the country, owing much to the excellent local produce on offer from the sea and land.
As a country house hotel by the sea, The Nare is a specialist when it comes to seafood dishes and the Cornish beef sourced from local farms, is amongst some of the best on offer.
Carne Bay Spa is The Nare's charming spa facility.
Located in a quiet corner of the hotel you will find two calming treatment rooms and a full menu of treatments designed to relax, de-stress and help you shake off the cares of the world.
Spoil yourself with a massage, pamper yourself with a manicure or simply have your hair done for the evening.
Carne Beach is one of Cornwall's best kept secrets.
At high tide it's a great place for a swim, at low tide a mile of golden sand creates safe bathing, fantastic rock pools and acres of space for a game of beach volleyball, cricket or sand castle building.
