Suie Hunting Lodge
Suie Hunting Lodge is the former shooting lodge of the Suie Estate, built in 1780 it is steeped in history and character. We are now a small boutique style hotel with a passion for eclectic design and great food. We're located in the north of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park in stunning Glen Dochart between Crianlarich and Killin. The River Dochart arrives spectacularly in Killin at the Falls of Dochart and on to Loch Tay.

Please note we have no Wifi and limited phone signal in our rural setting, so sit back, relax and enjoy being off the radar.
Services
Built around 1780 Suie Hunting Lodge was the shooting lodge of the Suie estate and was used as a residence until the Auchlyne estate bought the whole estate of 'Suie' in 1942 and merged to become Auchlyne and Suie Estate.
The above image is from the original sale document from 1942 in which it was described as 'The famous sporting and fishing estate of Suie' and also consisted of the Luib hotel, 2 farms and around 11,000 acres of land.
Prior to this the whole of the estate is referred to in many times including in the book 'In famed Breadalbane'.
Individually decorated rooms show our love of the traditional and modern brought together in an eclectic look, including art from Scottish and local artists.
Our newly renovated rooms have rainfall showers, cast iron roll top baths and 400 thread count, 100% cotton sheets, we like to make your stay as comfy as possible.
We provide Fine Scottish Soap Company sea kelp toiletries, coffee & tea and tasty Fairtrade biscuits.
We welcome families and can accommodate small children in our luxury rooms, for a small charge we can provide additional cot beds.

If there was ever a reason.
