The Clan Macduff
The Clan MacDuff Hotel's origins started in 1963 when the Fyfe family bought a small 2 acre croft and opened. The Clan Macduff is a friendly, family run hotel sitting right on the banks of the picturesque Loch Linnhe, just on the edge of the Outdoor Capital of the UK, Fort William. Our wonderful food, very comfortable accommodation, and the personal approach of our experienced team will ensure your stay here in the highlands is everything you wished it would be.

Charming place with lovely food and people. Had the mussels for dinner, a whisky tasting, their macduff lager was very nice, and the smoked haddock for breakfast was excellent. Comfortable night's rest.
Services
The Clan MacDuff Hotel's origins started in 1963 when the Fyfe family bought a small 2 acre croft and opened a 3 bedroom B&B house and has be redeveloped 3 times to its current form.
It is now in its third generation of the Fyfe family.
The hotel has been extensively rebuilt and modernised over the past 5 years.
We may be biased, but we think we have the best views in town, but you should come and check it out yourself.
We are only 2 miles from the centre of Fort William.
Close enough to all the amenities, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and serenity of the outdoors.
We have a range of room types including, twin or king (two single beds or UK king), queen, triples (either UK queen and single or 3 single beds).
Every room has its own private en-suite bathroom, toiletries, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, Freeview TV and their own seating area.
Our room rates include a full Scottish breakfast and Continental buffet, for those early birds we provide a packed breakfast.
The 'MacDuff Lodge' is a small walk across the car park in which a few of our rooms are located.
We are so fortunate to be able to show you the wonderful views of Loch Linnhe and the Morven hills whilst you eat in our Restaurant or Lounge Bar.
Both have large picture windows for you to take it all in, you may even be lucky to see otters playing in the water or a seals swimming by.
We serve delicious home cooked meals in both our Restaurant and Lounge Bar.
There is definitely something for everyone from delicious West Coast Salmon to Highland Venison Burgers to traditional Haggis, Neeps and Tatties.
Fort William is a great base to do many day trips around the West Coast both long full day trips and shorter ones.
This area is packed with so much to do, if you have the time we recommend a minimum of two full days to get a feel for the area.
Fort William is located on the West Coast of Scotland, 75 miles from Inverness Airport and 99 miles from Glasgow airport.
The town is small, but hugely popular with so much to see and do, we have been 'The Outdoor Capital of the UK' since 2004.
Fort William is surrounded by mountains, no wonder we have the highest mountain in the United Kingdom, Ben Nevis reaching 1345 meters (4413 feet) above sea level, plus two of Scotland's most popular walking trails, the West Highland Way and the Great Glen Way start or finish here.
We would love it if you could stay longer; therefore we are giving a free bottle of wine with every booking if you stay 3 nights or more (booked directly).
All you need to do is book via our online booking page and quote 'complimentary wine' in the box.
Please phone on 01397 702341 if availability is not shown or if you have any problem with the online booking system.
