If you could check your temperature before you arrive here, anyone with a temperature 38 degrees and above should not travel. Checking in will still be carried out and we will still be there to show you to your room. A mask should be worn in all the public places. We have installed hand sanitisers at the front entrance and in the Breakfast Room, which are there for your frequent use.

If you need any assistance we will be there to help. Breakfast will be pre-ordered the evening before and with an agreed time will be served at your table which will be your designated table throughout your visit. We are still using local produce which you all look forward too. A traditionally built, Lakeland house which is concealed in the grounds and quietly situated adjacent to and overlooking the River Rothay and surrounding fells.

Beck Allans Guest House is located in the centre of Grasmere village, in the Heart of the English Lake District, 4 miles from Ambleside, 8 miles from Windermere and 12 miles from Keswick.

Thomason's of Keswick supply us with Bacon and Sausage.
The bacon is dry cured Cumbrian pork, and their Cumberland Sausage is how a sausage should taste.
Pennington's Tea and Coffee are an award-winning family business supplying us with hand roasted, ethically sourced speciality coffee.

There are so many great places to eat and drink in Grasmere including a choice of cafes and tearooms including Potted Out and Greens Cafe & Bistro.
There is a wide choice of pubs and restaurants including The Jumble Room, The Dining Room at Oak Bank, Tweedies Bar, The Swan Hotel and Grasmere also has a Michelin star restaurant at Forestside.
Allan Bank is a large National Trust property that was once home to William Wordsworth.
M6 to Penrith junction 40, head west on the A66 to the turning for St. John's in the Vale to join the A591 and continue south.
Turn right into the village and follow the road around to Beck Allans which is adjacent to the Wordsworth Hotel in the village centre.
M6 to junction 36 then follow the A591 through Windermere and Ambleside to Grasmere.
Take the first turning off the mini roundabout into Grasmere village and you will find Beck Allans Guest House in the centre of the village adjacent to the Wordsworth Hotel.
