A further mile down the farm track are the 4 Haunn Cottages.
Choose one of the unique blackhouses (Middle, East, West, Shieling) - which are perfect for a couple.
Toechtamhor sits in its own garden, and comfortably sleeps 4 (but can sleep 5).
As we live on the farm, the cottages are managed on-site by us and our valued housekeepers.
The farm is a wonderful base for walking and exploring, as well as being a beautiful setting for just relaxing and chilling out.
Look out for White tailed eagle, Otter, Golden Eagle and Hen harrier which are seen regularly here, and sometimes from the cottage gardens!

We quite literally stumbled upon Treshnish: we had no map, no guidebook.
It was in the summer of 1988.
We were struck by a sense that we were stepping back in time as we walked down the track and it felt magical - unspoiled and untarnished.
As we walked we actually said to each other - wouldn't it be amazing to live somewhere like this?!
When we reached Haunn, we were expecting open fields before reaching the sea.
It was a complete surprise to find the cottages nestling in the shelter of a hill, in full summer sunshine.

We are almost an hour's drive from the ferry terminal at Craignure, and 50 minutes from the colourful capital Tobermory.
As you will read in the individual descriptions of the cottages the 4 Treshnish Cottages are half a mile from the main road.
The additional mile from there down the unmetalled farm track to the 4 Haunn Cottages can seem a long, long way.
For some it is not far enough - for others it is a mile too far.
