Lynn and Ian Sutherland welcome you to their Lake District Guest House in Windermere, offering a relaxed and informal Bed and Breakfast atmosphere. We hope you find the following information useful in booking your stay in the beautiful English Lake District and thank you for visiting our site.

Rocklea is a traditional Lakeland Stone guest house built in Windermere in 1853, which enjoys a tranquil setting by the side of Mill Beck as it flows from Orrest Head through leafy woodland finally ending its journey in Lake Windermere. We are ideally situated in a quiet area of Windermere yet only a few minutes walk from the village centre, bus and railway station.

An easy stroll brings you to Bowness (by the lake), where you can enjoy a cruise on the lake, sample some of the many restaurants and cafes or just simply enjoy the views! English Tourism Council inspectors report.
