Where you can look out on to the lovely manicured garden There?s a real sense of occasion to the experience, as we bring a freshly filled teapot and a gleaming silver cake stand to your table, laden with sandwiches, exquisite handmade cakes and freshly baked scones, along with fruity preserves and thick clotted cream.

A delicious sandwich selection: Scottish smoked salmon and cream cheese, roast ham, roast free-range chicken breast and egg mayonnaise & cress.

Wray Castle is a Victorian neo-gothic building at Claife in the English county of Cumbria.
The house and grounds have belonged to the National Trust since 1929, but the house has only recently opened to the public on a regular basis.

Within the centre you will discover Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle Duck and all their friends in a magical indoor recreation of Beatrix Potter classic tales, with the sights, sounds and also the smells of the countryside.

When you arrive in Hawkshead, find the entrance to the Grammar School.
Drive through the Grammar School wrought iron gates (our sign is on the left hand sidegate post).
Do an immediate left down the beech hedge pass the garages and park up facing the bank.
Walk up to the small gate, this will take you round to the front of the cottage.
