The Edwards family welcome you to Thistle House Guest House, a beautiful spacious Victorian country house situated in a large pretty wooded garden, overlooking Loch Fyne to Inveraray and its famous castle. Our gardens have some special visitors which can be seen from both our public rooms and bedrooms. Look out for our family of red squirrels and roe deer and keep a special watch out for the many seals in the loch at the front of the house.
The house is also perfect for bird watching with both woodland and shore birds. We have just taken over Thistle House, which had been awarded a 4 star gold accreditation from visit Scotland. We are currently awaiting our own accreditation. Thistle House is a beautiful Victorian house that has been sympathetically upgraded and refined with modern amenities.
Our rural location and stunning views provide guests with a chance to relax and unwind. The Guest House is perfectly located for visits to Inveraray, Dunoon, Oban and many more of the beautiful surrounding west coast of Scotland's areas.

The lounge also has a laptop set up with internet access, an array of books and information on the local area.
All of our bedrooms have 5 ft King Beds and are individually designed to an exceptionally high standard, incorporating modern facilities but within a traditional styled Victorian house.
